Hey, and welcome to the site.
Where in the UK are you from?
Starting Parkour? It's easy, you can do anything. .
Watch a few youtube video's, start with vaults if you want to. Just go out to a wall or rail or something you can jump over, and practice different ways you can get over it. It doesn't have to be done perfectly, or even like it is in the video's, just get over it, and start moving around. .
Try precisions, from one point to another, they can be done anywhere. Jump up and out, land two footed, and land on the balls of your feet to reduce damage/impact. A rule of thumb with landings is, the quieter, the better. =].
Start conditiong (working out). For parkour, you need to be strong. It helps so much. So do push ups, tricep dips, lunges, calf raises, squats, plank etc. If you wanna know more about conditioning, check out that part of the forums. Always remember to work out both lower and upper body. And as for how much to do? Do 6-8 of each excercise, and do that 3 times. So 6 push ups, 6 squats 6 etc, then start again, 6 push ups, 6 squats etc, and start again, and thats your three sets. =].
If you want anymore information, just lemme know and I'll be happy to help, but have a look in the conditioning and techniques section of the site, as any question you have could be answered already in there.
Good luck,

I've only been doing Parkour for a couple of months myself, but I've been around it for almost two years, and concentrated on the theory and stuff around it before I started moving. Wierd I guess, but just my way. I prefer to know what works and what doesn't before I try things, and it also helps a lot more when you know good information that can help you on your way. =].
